May tie A. Bates LEBANON Services for Mrs. jMaytie A. Bates, wife of Oria Bates of route 1, were held at the Huston chapel Thursday afternoon. long time resident of Lebanon, she died Monday night in the community hospital.

A native of Linn county, she was born at Sodaville, April 23, 1898. She is survived bv her husband. three sons, Alfred and Delmar, both of Lebanon. Merton of Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Laverna Gala-von of California: stepfather, Ora Ireland of Albany, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Doris M. Brooks LEBANON Funeral services Mrs. Doris Marie Brooks were held Friday morning at the Huston chapel. She died in the community hospital Tuesday after a long ill- ness. Mrs.

Brooks had lived in Lebanon for the past 10 years and was born In Independence, March 23, 1901. Survivors include her husband. George Brooks, Seattle: two halt brothers, Roland and Orland King, both of Gresham. Minnie Harrelson AMITY Minnie May Harrel- son, 58, died at the Amity Faith Home, March 8, after a long illness. She was born in MadiU, June 4, 1098, to Jordan and Sarah Williams.

On August 31, 1912, she married James E. Harrelson. Later the family moved to California where they lived until 8 years ago when Uiey moved to the Dayton area. Mrs. Harrelson was a Gold Star Mother, a son, Walter Wesley, a -member of a paratroop division, was killed in Normandy in 1944 at the age of 19.

She is survived by her husband. James E. Harrelson ot Dayton; three daughters, Rosa Lee Smith, Palo Alto, Jane Moody, Modesto, Mary Jean McGrew, Dayton, and three sons, Floyd, Dayton; ana two sons in armed forces who were flown home for services, James, from Korea, and Billy Ray from Germany. Funeral services were conducted from O'Malley's Memorial chapel, McMinnville, March 14, Rev. D.
