Eola Club To Name New Officers Friday Eola The Eola Community club will hold its lajt meeting for the year Friday night. The election of officers for the ensuing year will ba held. A pot luck supier will be a feature of the evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p. m. A short musical program will be trlveti after which games will be played on the school grounds, weather permitting.

The Men's class will meet at the library building. The Loyal Women's class will meet with the men's class on Sunday morning. No Thursday evening service will be conducted this week due to the commencement services at the high school that evening. Both special bible study classes have finished the course of study and the classes will dtsbard. Other classes will be organized next fall.

Divorce Is Asked Albany Beula J. Murray filed an action for divorce in department No. 2 of circuit court here against William H. Murray of Medford. The plaintiff alleges cruel and inhuman! treatment as the grounds for ac-1 tion.

Murray is the proprietor of a beauty shop. The couple were mar-! ried in August, 1925 and have no children. Marks Gives Talk For Senior Class Albany Senator Willard Marks, president of the state senate, and a resident of Albany, addressed the 95 members of the Albany high school senior class at the annual commencement exercises last night, having chosen as his subject the motto of the class, "The Horizon Widens as We Climb." boys and guests spent Memorial week-end vacation on a camping trip at Pacific City, leaving early Saturday morning and returning Monday evening. The time was spent in boating, clam digging, fishing and hiking on the beach. All meals were planned and the menus made out before leaving Amity. Each boy was allotted the preparation of a meal for which he was party responsible. Everything from tlie lowly bean to fried chicken appeared on the menu.

Colonel Hughes of Forest Grove will cry the auction which will be managed by Levi llrKee, president of the Polk County Jersey cattle club.
