Mr. Kisdon, from the committee to whom was referred the bill for a Terriioiial road from Jacob Spores' to John Long's, reported the same with an amendment, providing that the expanse shouid be paid out of the Territorial Treasury. The amendment was lost and the bill passed.

On motion of Mr. Simpson, the committee of ihe whole was discharged from the further, consideration of the business be. fore it. The House then proceeded to the consideration Of the hill to Increase the members of the House of Representatives, adding two, one for Marion and one for Linn county. Mr.

Avery moved to amend by striking signed numerous bills. The juint committee oi coniercnce on me bill relating to a Constitutional convention, made a second report to the effect that they had agreed upon certain amendments. The report was adopted. The same report was also adopted in the Council and the hill consequently became a law. We publish it in the appropriate column to-day.
