Noble MONROE Myrtle E. Noble, 91, of Rt. 2, Box 206, Monroe, died Tuesday at home. She grew up in South Benton County and lived in the Alpine area most of her life. She was a member of the Maple Rebecca Lodge.

She is survived by a son, Ervin, Alpine; daughters, Velma Coe, Alpine, and Lucille Chambers, Alva-dore (Lane County); a brother, Raymond Larkin, Wallowa; a sister, Golda Deickman, Myrtle Creek; seven grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 am. Friday in the Bellfountain Cemetery. McHenry mortuary, Corvallis, is in charge of arrangements. Morris A.

Martinez GATES Morris A. Martinez, 19, of Gates, died Sunday in an automobile accident on Oregon 22. He was born in Los Angeles, and had lived here four years. He graduated from MillxCity High School. Survivors include his mother, Judith Head, Gates; father, Jesus Martinez, Southgate, brother, Jesse, Gates; and grandmother, Nereida Astorga, Phoenix, Ariz.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Gates Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Weddle mortuary, Faith Margaret Freaner LEBANON Faith Margaret Freaner, 67, of 33574 Santiam Highway, died Tuesday evening in Lebanon Community Hospital. Matthews SWEET HOME Ed Mat-thews, 69, of 28970 Weatherly Lane, died Tuesday in Lebanon Community Hospital. He was born in Big Spring, Texas, where he lived until 1939. He moved to Sweet Home in 1968 from Santa Cruz, Calif. He was employed by Champion Plywood in Lebanon until his retirement in 1976. Surviving are his wife, Lela; sons, Gerald and Ed both of Sweet Home, Barry, Seaside, and John, Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Inez Midd-leton, Tulsa, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday -at the Steckly-Tracewell mortuary. Interment will be in Gilliland Cemetery. Richard K. O'Connor Staff Sgt.

Richard K. O'Connor, 27, died of an illness Monday at his home at Keesler Air Force Base, Bi-Ioxi, Miss. He was born and reared in Salem, and graduated from McNary High School in 1972. He entered the Air Force in September 1972, served in Germany and had been at Keesler Air Force Base about five years. Surviving are his wife, Anna, and son, Ronald both of Crystal Springs, parents, Mr.

and Mrs. Richard E. O'Connor, Braden-ton, sisters, Kathleen O'Connor, Bradenton, and Carol Mull, Salem; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph K.

O'Connor, Salem, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kranz, Chemult (Klamath County). A military funeral with burial will be Tuesday in Crystal Springs. Contributions to an organization of the donor's choice are suggested.

Robert D. Pence Robert D. Pence, 86, formerly a resident of Salem, died Tuesday in Aptos, where he had lived for several years. He farmed in the Gervais area for many years before moving to California. Survivors include his wife, Gladys; son, Robert Aptos; brother, Donald, Portland; and sis- Lucille M.

Hoover Services for Lucille M. Hoover, 71, of 549 Churchdale Ave. who died Tuesday in Salem Hospital Memorial Unit, will beat Friday in Restlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Crypt interment will follow. Arrangements are by Howell-Ed-wards-Doerksen mortuary.

Born in Niwot, she had lived in Salem since 1935, and was a member of American Legion Post 9 Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Richard Salem; daughter, Susan K. Bevens, Salem; sister, Edna Mae Overstreet, Boulder, and two grandsons. Before her death, she asked that contributions in her memory be made to the Keizer Little League, P.O. Box 7384, Salem, Ore.

97303. Letha L. McRae Services for Letha L. McRae, 60, of 3910 27th Ave. SE, who died Monday in a car accident on the Salem-Dallas Highway, will be at 1 p.m.

today at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. Interment will be in Lee Mission Cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Salem, and had worked eight years for the state Motor Vehicles Division until the early 1960s. Survivors include her husband, Lewis Salem; daughters, Gloria McRae, Dallas, and Susan Richardson, Salem; brother, Lyle D. Cave, Salem; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the McRae Park Fund of Northeast Salem, in care of the mortuary. Herman August Luther ALBANY Herman August Luther, 79, of 435 Quarry Road NW, died Wednesday in the Fairlawn Care Center, Gresham, after a long illness. He was born in Albany, and lived here all but one year of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a past master of Fairmont Grange No. 252 and a lifetime member of Albany Elks' Lodge No.

359. Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; son, Donald, Woodburn; sisters, Carolyn Morgan and Lydia Coughlan, both of Albany; six grandchildrenm and two greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fisher mortuary. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to Fairmont Grange. Paul J. Delmatoff PORTLAND Paul J. Delmatoff, 59, died Saturday at his home here. Born in Los Angeles, he had lived in Detroit for several years before coming here four years ago.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Russian Mo-lokan Church, Gervais. Survivors include his brothers, John, Whittier, Donald, Valencia, and William, Portland and sister, Diane, Valencia. Services will be at 10 a.m today in the Molokan Church, Gervais. Interment will be in the Gervais Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Woodburn, and the Masonic Lodge, Brooks. Survivors include his son, Jim, Gervais; daughters, Maxine Moyer, Monterey, Marie Hardin, Madera, Betty Lou Wellman, Sil-verton, and Marjorie Cecil Hassler, Salem; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Friday at Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn. Interment will be in Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem. The family suggests contributions to Finishing Touches at the Benedictine Care Center, Mount Angel. Harold E. Warren CORVALLIS Harold E.

Warren, 89, of 124 NW 7th died Tuesday evening at home. Born in Nashville, he moved with his family to Portland, where he was reared and received his schooling. He moved to Corvallis in the spring of 1915, and was a partner in the Warren and Shupe furniture store. During World War II he lived in Boise, Idaho. After the war he returned to Corvallis, where he was a partner and manager of the Independent laundry.

He retired in 1961. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Olive; sons, Stuart, San Marino, and Glen, Menlo Park, 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church, with the Rev.

Roger Zimmerman officiating. Donations to the church, in care of McHenry mortuary, 206 NW 5th Corvallis, are suggested. Chester T. Crecelius INDEPENDENCE Chester T. "Peanuts" Crecelius, 72, of Independence, died of a sudden illness Monday in Salem Hospital Memorial Unit.

Services are pending at Farn-strom-Parmenter mortuary. Mary E. Bales, 85, of 3850 SW Meer Ave, Corvallis, died Tuesday in the Sherwood Pafk nursing home, Salem. She was born in Claremont, and came to Salem in 1925 from Horton, Kans. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church here.

Her husband, Loren F. Bales, died in 1971. Survivors include her daughters, Theo Orr, Corvallis, Cleo Cox, Salem, Louise Pontiff, Lodi, Uela Scott, Hillsboro, and Betty Hayhurst, Bend; sons, Frank, Salem, Paul, Banning, and Charles, Syracuse, 19 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Virgil T.

Plotts 49, of 149 SE Grove died Tuesday near Silverton in a log loading accident. Born in Kelso, he had lived -in this area for 19 years, and was a member of the First Christian Church and the Log Truckers Association. Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Sgt. Garry U.S. Air Force, in the Azores, and Gordon D.

Darrell E. and David all of Mill City; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Plotts, Mill City; sister, Irene Hilton, Screven, and eight grandchildren.

4th died Wednesday at home. Born in Crabtree( she lived in Central Point before coming here in 1974. Survivors include her sons, Arthur Haynes, Independence, and Alvin and Benjamin Haynes, both of Dallas; stepsons, Ferd Syphers, Electric City, and Stanley Syphers, Lafayette; daughter, Belva Wheeldon, Falls City; brothers, Percy, Henry and James Legg, all in Arizona, and Harry Legg, in California; sisters, Chilly Teats, Port Angeles, and Vera Hislip, Grants Pass; 28 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Irene Lloyd Services for Irene Lloyd, 79, of 1545 Brush College Road NW, who died Sunday at home, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Barrick mortuary. Born in Pomeroy, she had lived in Norwalk, before coming here two years ago. She was a retired beautician.
