Negro Entertainer The most entertaining person I found on the location was Eugene Jackson, the Negro entertainer who performed as Pineapple in the old "Our Gang Comedies" and later on in "Cimmaron." Jackson was playing the saxophone, remarkably well, while everyone else ate. I snapped his picture and later he came over and proudly began to tell me about his son Eugene Jackson Jr. who is cast as Gabriel in the picture.

As Gabriel he is the best friend of the youngest 6on of Jimmy Stewart. Young Gene's first picture was in "Drumbeat" starring Alan Ladd. He has since been In other pictures including "Artists and Models" with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, and has had a starring role in Shirley Temple's television spectacular, "Land of Green Gin-ger. When not in pictures Gene performs at Disneyland and is now on the Mark Twain Boat as a singing and dancing waiter.
