Stalp of Aurora, whose marriage to James C Turin was solemnized in St. Mary's Catholic church. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Turin of ML AngeL Officiating at the 10 o'clock nuptial high mass was the Rev. Edward Spear, OSB with John Stalp, Canby, and Dennis Bean, ML Angel, as altar boys. Miss Helen Keber played the organ and SL Mary's choir sang' the mass. The soloist was Miss Betty Doggett of Canby. , : v The bride wore a floor Jength wedding gown with lace bodice and full tulle skirt A, coronet of pearls and sequins held her fingertip veil and she carried a white orchid on a prayer book. Mrs. Darrel Rehm of Ephrata, Wash., sister of the bride, was matron of honor and she wore a gown of light green crystaletto with ballerina skirt Bridesmaids were Miss Mryl Ann Powers, Pendleton, and Mrs. Glen Rossiter. Portland. Their gowns were fashioned identical to the honor attendant but were of dark green. - Louis Turin of Gresham stood with his brother as best man. The groom's mother wore a dusty rose afternoon dress, navy blue accessories and yellow cymbidium orchids. Also present was the bride's grandmother, Mrs: Agnes Stalp of ML Angel. ! A dinner and reception in St. Mary's dining hall for 250 guests followed the services. ! Mrs. Mary Uhing and Mrs. William Stalp, aunts of the bride, seat ed the guests, and Mrs. Glen Clark, Salem, sister of the groom, cut the cake. The groom's sister-in-law. Mrs. ixhus Turin of Gresham, served the coffee. At the punch bowIi were Miss Faith ' Manion, Portland, and Mrs, Joe Koelker. Kelso, i -. j , . . For her wedding trip to California the bride wore a rust dress and havocado accessories. After Decem ber 10, the newlyweds will be at home in Canby. .j j.
